Past Work

These are a set of photos that i photographer about half a year ago as part of my A Level Photography project. The project title was Secret Life, and i basically looked into how people look on the outside and about stereotyping different people into how they behave. These photos are 4 taken of someone addicted to drugs, i used lighting studio and flood lights to create a dark shadowy room.

I completed a project on Text and Image for my AS exam. I took a range of black and white images with my SLR camera. I used David Shridgly as my main photographer and he influenced a lot of my work for Text and Image. I used just one model and just took out with me my camera, a sketchbook and a black marker. I went round, wrote words onto the paper and added them into the photographs to enhance them. I Used David Shridgly because his work is quite strange and edgy and i feel my work is simular to his in some ways.
This photo below is a photo taken for this project with a more serious edge, i decided to take a few photos for a No-Smoking campaign and had the idea of added text into the image. This photo is now being displayed in Loughborough Town center along with another piece of my work from my emotions project. The photograph is found below.

The two photos below are from my first project for my Photography Alevel. This project was one i picked myself, Movement. I mainly focused on two elements of movement in photography and they were both using the shutter speeds. One was fast shutter speeds, so catching my models in action, and the other was the more successful slow shutter speeds. Here below are a couple of examples of my work. I used mainly 8th of a second and below and experimented with these speeds to add better effect.
